Beschreibung
Wegovy-Tabletten sind ein einmal täglich einzunehmendes orales Medikament, das Semaglutid enthält, einen GLP-1-Rezeptoragonisten, der von Novo Nordisk entwickelt wurde (derselbe Wirkstoff, der in Ozempic- und Wegovy-Injektionspens enthalten ist). Das Medikament ist für Erwachsene mit Fettleibigkeit oder Übergewicht in Verbindung mit gewichtsbasierten Gesundheitsproblemen zugelassen. Wegovy ist außerdem zur Reduzierung des kardiovaskulären Risikos bei Patienten mit bestehender Herzkrankheit zugelassen.
Semaglutid wirkt als GLP-1-Rezeptoragonist, fördert das Sättigungsgefühl und reduziert den Appetit, um eine nachhaltige Gewichtskontrolle in Kombination mit Ernährungsumstellung und körperlicher Aktivität zu unterstützen. Die Behandlung erfordert medizinische Überwachung und die Einhaltung eines strukturierten Dosiserhöhungsprotokolls.
Anwendungshinweise
Zutaten
Der Hauptwirkstoff in Wegovy ist Semaglutid. Semaglutid ist ein Glucagon-ähnliches Peptid-1 (GLP-1) Rezeptoragonist. Das bedeutet, dass es die Wirkung natürlicher Hormone nachahmt, die den Appetit und die Nahrungsaufnahme im Körper regulieren. GLP-1-Rezeptoragonisten wirken, indem sie das Hungergefühl reduzieren und das Sättigungsgefühl erhöhen, was zu einer verringerten Nahrungsaufnahme und folglich zu Gewichtsverlust führt. Semaglutid wird durch Injektion verabreicht und ist dafür vorgesehen, zusammen mit einer kalorienreduzierten Diät und erhöhter körperlicher Aktivität zur Behandlung von Fettleibigkeit oder Übergewicht bei Erwachsenen mit bestimmten gewichtsbedingten medizinischen Erkrankungen eingesetzt zu werden.
