Startfase (week 1-4)

De behandeling begint meestal met een lagere dosis om het lichaam te helpen wennen. Bijwerkingen kunnen misselijkheid, braken, diarree of verstopping zijn. Een verminderde eetlust kan leiden tot een lagere calorie-inname. In het begin is het gewichtsverlies mogelijk niet significant.

Dosisaanpassing (maand 2-3)

Verhoog de dosis geleidelijk tot het streefniveau en let daarbij op bijwerkingen. Verwacht een betere eetlustbeheersing en een aanvankelijk gewichtsverlies van 1-3%, gevolgd door een aanhoudend verlies van 0,5 tot 2 pond per week. Neem gezonde gewoonten aan, vul de check-in-enquêtes in en neem contact op met ons klinische team voor ondersteuning.

Aanzienlijk gewichtsverlies (maanden 4-6)

Er is aanzienlijk gewichtsverlies waargenomen, vooral in combinatie met een dieet en lichaamsbeweging. Sommige patiënten melden een gewichtsafname van tot wel 20% of meer.
