Each pre-filled pen of Ozempic® contains a solution of semaglutide, with each dose delivering a specific quantity of semaglutide. The solution also includes additional ingredients such as disodium phosphate dihydrate, propylene glycol, phenol, water for injections, and sodium hydroxide or hydrochloric acid for pH adjustment.

As with any medication, Ozempic® may have potential side effects. Common side effects include nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, and hypoglycemia (low blood sugar).
