How often do I need to apply it?

You must apply it twice a day, every day. Applying it more often or using more than 1 ml does not improve results and increases the risk of side effects. Consistency is more important than quantity.

Is this product suitable for women?

Generally, the 50mg/ml (5%) strength is recommended for men. Women are usually advised to use the 20mg/ml (2%) strength, as the higher concentration carries a higher risk of unwanted facial hair growth (hypertrichosis) in women. Consult a doctor if you are a woman considering the 5% strength.

Why does it look like I am losing more hair when I start?

This is a known phenomenon called "shedding." It often happens in the first 2 to 6 weeks. The medication stimulates hair follicles to shift from the resting phase to the growth phase, pushing out old, weak hairs to make room for new, thicker ones. This is usually a sign the treatment is working.

What happens if I stop using Minoxidil?

If you stop treatment, the positive effects will disappear. The hair regrowth you gained will likely be lost within 3 to 4 months, and the natural balding process will resume. To maintain results, continuous use is required.

Can I use hair gel or hairspray while using this lotion?

Yes, but you should apply the Minoxidil first. Allow the lotion to dry completely (which may take some time) before applying any styling products like gel, wax, or hairspray.
